Best Games That Can Run On Ryujinx

While there are quite a few Nintendo-focused emulators out there, Ryujinx takes Nintendo Switch emulation to the next level. A lot of gamers find themselves looking for Nintendo emulators, simply because Nintendo release a lot of exclusive games that cannot be played on other systems.

Ryujinx is an open-source Nintendo Switch emulator, meaning that it has a full team of developers working together to make sure that it runs perfectly. In this article, we’re going to be sharing some of the best games on Ryujinx with you. These are games that run perfectly, from start to finish.

1.   Mario Kart 8 Deluxe

As of the start of this year, Ryujinx has been able to run Mario Kart 8 Deluxe smoothly. Naturally, this is amazing news for the emulator, currently competing with a handful of other emulators. While Yuzu is the Nintendo emulator that a lot of people find themselves reaching for at the moment, Ryujinx is quickly picking up the pace and making a name for itself.

It is worth noting that you will need a powerful computer if you are planning on playing Mario Kart 8 Deluxe on Ryujinx. We would highly recommend making sure that you have (at the very least) a GTX 1070 graphics card. This will ensure that you have the best gaming experience possible.

In Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, you’ll be able to play as some of your favorite characters. These include the exclusive Bowser Jr., Dry Bones, Inkling Boy, Inkling Girl and King Boo.

2.  Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition HD

At the moment, one of the best games available on Ryujinx would have to be Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition HD. This game does run a little bit slowly on the emulator, but it plays perfectly in every other way. It is worth noting that the developers have done a lot of work behind the scenes at Ryujinx to make sure that this game plays as well as it does.

If you’re familiar with the Final Fantasy series, then you’ll already know just how big these Square Enix role-playing games are. Like the older Final Fantasy games, this one features an action-based battle system with weapons and magic. It also has an open-world platform to explore.

Please note, if you want Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition HD to run well, we would recommend investing in a really good graphics card. The game does use quite a lot of resources and you might find that you encounter a few small errors if your system specifications can’t keep up with the demands of the game.

3.  Super Mario Maker 2

When you’re in the mood to play games and be creative, you might want to give Super Mario Maker 2 a little try. This game has provided both entertainment and a series of ridiculous challenges, with some gamers creating courses that could never be beaten.

On Ryujinx, Super Mario Maker 2 functions almost flawlessly. Naturally, some of the online options are not available as Ryujinx can’t join the right servers, but they are in the process of creating their own online network. This would function in the same way, but it would not offer any sort of links to Nintendo.

Remember, when you’re playing Super Mario Maker 3 there are also courses that you can try to complete. Some of these are hard, others are easy. We would recommend trying to make your way through as many of them as possible to see how you do.

4.  Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Rescue Team DX

When you’re in a mood that only Pokemon can help with, you might find yourself reaching for Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Rescue Team DX. This charming game is actually a remake of the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Blue Rescue Team and Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team games of 2005.

On Ryujinx, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Rescue Team DX seems to function almost flawlessly. There are a couple of speed issues, but nothing that makes the game impossible to play. Generally speaking, the FPS is around 20 – 30. This is quite slow when compared to other games, but it isn’t problematically slow when you consider the gameplay itself.

If you want to make sure that you have the best experience with this game, we would recommend making sure that your computer has a good graphics card. If it does, you’ll be ready to sit down, answer a questionnaire to find out which character you’ll be playing with and explore. Don’t worry, if you don’t like your character, they will let you pick a different one.

5.  One Piece Pirate Warriors 3

While a couple of the cutscenes in One Piece Pirate Warriors 3 have a few issues on Ryujinx, the rest of the game runs perfectly. This action video game gives players the opportunity to play as dozens of different characters, heading into battle and watching Legend Log cutscenes.

The One Piece Pirate Warriors 3 world is bright, colorful and bold, with plenty of exploring to do. The characters look quite unique, especially when you compare them to the characters found in other Japanese games. Luckily, the story follows the same lines as the anime and the other video games, creating one cohesive world that simply works.

On Ryujinx, One Piece Pirate Warriors 3 currently appears to be working with no issues. The game can be played from start to finish, but a few people will encounter cutscene glitches.

If you’re interested in playing Bandai Namco games, you will be happy to hear that quite a few do have a playable status on Ryujinx. As time progresses, the developers are adding more and more to their library.
